I love your moody shots --they're so 'film noir!' Hope you can get your chandelier working. I just moved one from one room to another and for some reason, now four out of six bulbs don't work. Grrr...
Thank you, John! I suppose it's apropos, since I have a vaguely mysterious "femme fatale" thing going on in real life. (Note to self: build Sam Spade's office in miniature AND in grayscale, complete with fake Maltese falcon.)
I haven't riddled out the chandelier yet, but there's a battery-powered version of the style, so if all else fails, I can always replace it without having to re-wire the room (though the price of battery-powered lights does make me cringe).
